Come on and sing it out! You know you want to! Nants ingonyama bagithi baba! Sithi uhm ingonyama! (Ingonyama nengw’ enamabala. Ingonyama nengw’ enamabala)
It is time. Time for us to learn the ways of young Mufasa. Coming this December to a theater near you, Disney’s Mufasa: The Lion King is coming!! Rafiki takes us on a journey to discover the legend of a legend in this live-action meets photoreal computer-generated imagery film directed by Barry Jenkins. In the movie, Rafiki is telling Mufasa’s story to lion cub, Kiara, daughter of Simba and Nala through flashbacks. (Timon and Pumbaa are there with all their shenanigans.) The story unfolds as Mufasa, an orphaned cub, meets Taka, a lion heir to a royal bloodline. This bond sets a journey in motion with a group of misfits searching for their destiny all while working together to evade a deadly foe. Maybe Ellis will give us a review!
