The Magic Kingdom’s Jungle Cruise will close for refurbishment August 26th, 2024 according to the latest Disney World calendar. The closure is expected to last until at least September 17th.

While no show changes are expected, several permits were filed recently, including one with contractor Underwater Engineering Services, Inc. The ride has not been closed for refurbishment since 2017, despite a few recently updated scenes. Rumors have also speculated that Big Thunder Mountain may be closed for refurbishment this year, but no official plans have been announced.
