Celebrating the Evolution of EPCOT

Opening June 10, 2024 

The walls are coming DOWN! This will be the final puzzle piece to fit together the four “Neighborhoods” of EPCOT: World Showcase, World Celebration, World Nature and World Discovery. The entirety of the transformation that has taken place will finally be able to be enjoyed by visitors. 

Beginning June 10, you will be able to stroll through a fully transformed EPCOT. Here is a little of what you can find there! 

The FIRST confirmed show at the new Plaza stage will be “¡Celebración Encanto!”: June 10-Sept. 6

This new limited-time show runs several times throughout the day. The crowd WILL want to talk about Bruno as he and Mirabel will appear on the newly opened CommuniCore Plaza stage.

CommuniCore Hall will be home to the iconic EPCOT festivals and other celebrations. It will also be a relaxing indoor space year-round for all to recharge. Surrounded by serene views and exciting experiences, this will also be the new greeting location for Mickey & Friends! 

The exterior design of the building is geometric in pattern as inspired by Spaceship Earth. It will also feature complimentary lighting at night. 

If you are already in love and awe of the newly revealed World Celebration Gardens, you will be excited for even more greenery and relaxing spaces out in CommuniCore Plaza and Inspiration Gardens. 

And all of this always leads to more food and beverages and more entertainment to come! This is an ever evolving story and one to be sure to keep tabs on as Opening Day Approaches!
